Alpex Carbon MTB Rims
Alpex Carbon wheels are hand built and ridden in the Lake District England. We have two models of rim on offer with new models coming in the future. With some of the harshest riding conditions in the UK, we have developed a tough and reliable carbon wheel for the big days in the mountains. The AM:32 and EN:31 Rims are detailed below.
Hubs and spokes available through Alpex from reputable brands such as Hope, DT Swiss, Sapim and Shimano. We can supply a reliable, high quality wheelset. We can also build wheels with hubs supplied by yourself if another brand is preferred.
Due to the amount of options available to the suit riders of modern mountain bikes, we would be more than happy to talk to you directly about what exactly you would want from your Alpex wheelset.

Alpex AM:32 Rim
The AM:32 Toray T700 Carbon rim with a 32mm internal width. Perfect for the riders using 2.3” and wider tyres looking for the same support as a smaller tyres but maximising grip from the wider tread. The AM:32 sits between the lighter XC wheelsets and the heavy weight enduro and downhill wheels the gravity fuelled riders are looking for.
32 hole only, available in both. 27.5” (650b) and 29”.

Coming Soon! Alpex EN:31 Rim
The EN:31 rim is the gravity racers Alpex rim of choice. At 590 grams they are heavier than our all mountain rims but provide the extra strength and robustness the gravity fuelled riders and racers are looking for. With a 31mm Internal width the rim still provides the tyre support and grip required by these riders.
32 hole only, available in 29" only.
